This is not new territory for me as I stripped an MX5 for my Westfield build. The stripdown went smoothly and was done over a couple of weekends. The real difference is in how many parts are re-used on the Replicar so a little more care needed and a lot less use of the angle grinder
Very keen to get the shell out of the way so it went off to the metal merchants. Unfortunately after this the new kit with doors came out and my locks went with the shell so i will be turning to my Westfield forum for kit builders who still have their MX5 door locks
